Swiss entity, Hublot, with ingenuity, fashion and sustainability, while famous and renowned for its rich history of finely crafted timepieces, has brought the worlds of watches and coffee together. Hublot has collaborated with another Swiss name, Nespresso, to release the Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin timepiece.

Investing approximately 12 months in crafting, including research and development stages, the 42mm watch appears in a vibrant green hue with a satin and polished finish. But what makes the look particularly interesting is its recycled coffee grounds and aluminum Nespresso capsule composition. The watch also features eco-titanium, a recycled aluminum cap, and a recycled velcro strap for an enhanced environmentally equitable construction.
“The Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin is a watch born out of a close collaboration between the product development teams of Nespresso and Hublot, two pioneering Swiss brands, both of whom were founded in the 1980s,” said Hublot’s CEO, Richard Guadalupe. “It took the R&D teams a whole year to achieve the uniformity of colour of the watch’s seven different materials, find the right balance of ingredients and perform the quality and durability.”

Availability is limited to just 200 pieces, the Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin is already available on Hublot’s official website. This 42mm watch, anodized in vibrant green and finished in satin and polished styles, is a testament to the possibilities of sustainable design in the world of luxury.
The watch’s strap features a titanium buckle with a particular recycled aluminum decorative cap, matching the green anodized sporty velcro strap. This colour choice is a nod to Nespresso’s organic Master Origins Peru coffee capsule. To commemorate their partnership, Hublot has engraved Nespresso’s iconic ‘N’ onto the watch’s crown, precisely to symbolize their joint effort toward a more sustainable future.
